New haircut!

I've had the same hairstyle for about 6 years, so when I decided I wanted to change it up, I figured I may as well do it asap before I changed my mind. I've always wanted a pixie cut. I'd like to thank Sara Quin for the influence haha. I finally did it! It only took a few years of going back and looking at pictures every few months and talking myself into it. I wish I would have done it sooner-seriously. I had some pretty nice "scene" hair when I was about 15, and I got so many compliments all the time on it, but I can't tell you how many compliments I get with my new hair. I seriously feel so happy with my looks now. It was the biggest confidence boost. 

So this is the before of my hair, it wasn't as long as last year, but I got pretty nice growth after I cut it last December. 

   

                      

Okay, so it wasn't until I actually watched Youtube videos of people cutting their hair from long to pixie that I realized how plain long hair looks. Especially if you're like me and you don't do anything to it. Don't get me wrong, some girls can style their hair and make it so cute and do so many things to it but I just don't have the creativity, patience, or time. Sometimes I even forget to brush my hair! 

So this is the after, just the sides;

      

I'm so happy with it! It was done entirely with a razor, no scissors. My mom is actually a cosmetologist so she did it! So I got to tell her exactly what I wanted and I was completely comfortable with her(obviously) and I trusted her haha. What do you guys think?
